Lindsay was raised in central Alberta, Canada. She started riding at a very young age, sitting on a horse before she could walk! She was a member of Pony Club until the age of 13, at which point she decided to focus solely on dressage.

Lindsay entered the realm of recognized dressage shows on her Tennessee Walker-cross pony, Rusty, with whom she showed at the FEI Pony level. Rusty was also Lindsay’s Pony Club equine partner, winning several dressage and jumping Pony Club Provincial Championships.

Lindsay was also able to represent Canada once again at the 2009 North American Young Riders in Lexington, Kentucky. Oslo and Lindsay finished in the top 15 in the Team and Individual Young Rider tests and also finished ninth in the Freestyle. To finish off their successful competition year in 2009, Oslo and Lindsay were the Canadian Young Rider and Freestyle Champions. After another winter of training, in the summer of 2010 Lindsay and Oslo improved at their showing in Kentucky and placed fifth in the Young Rider Freestyle and in the top 10 for the Young Rider Individual at the North American Championships.

Lindsay attended the 2012 CDI3* International Invitational dressage show in Sydney, Australia. She was one of two Canadian riders selected to represent Canada at the event. At this competition Lindsay had the opportunity to ride a variety of PSG/I1 horses and was named the top international rider of the show.

Throughout the 2013 and 2014 show season, Lindsay and Oslo competed successfully at the Grand Prix level in Alberta. Since the retirement of Oslo, Lindsay has focused on training her locally bred horses through the FEI Young Horse levels up to Grand Prix, working with a variety of local and international trainers along the way. Lindsay has had the privilege to ride and train with several prominent dressage coaches including Steffen Peters, Rebecca Rigdon, Jaimey and Tina Irwin, Ulf Möller, and Gina Smith.

Lindsay’s current horses are Gaga (14 yr old KWPN) and Iko (12 yr old Canadian Warmblood), owned by Lindsay and her family. Lindsay declared for the 2023 Canadian Pan American Team and finished in the top 10, nationally, on both horses after an extensive show season in California, Oregon, BC, and Alberta. Lindsay has competed both Gaga and Iko at the Intermediate II level this year.

Lindsay enjoys teaching dressage lessons to people of all ages and training various horses throughout the levels of dressage. In addition to riding, Lindsay works as an environmental engineer and enjoys hiking/backpacking in the summer months and skiing in the winter.
